Yep! Back in December Santa left M & B some tickets to "Phantom of the Opera", so last weekend we headed to Omaha to finish our Christmas celebration. What a treat! We are talking some serious music and some serious voices. It was amazing!
It was fun to see M and spoil her a bit. She is recovering from a bout of bronchitis, so i think the extra TLC came at a good time. It's always fun for me to watch the kids enjoying each other.
They got the nicest compliment from someone at our church. This lady told me that her kids look up to our kids as an example of siblings in a family that not only love one another, but genuinely seem to like one another and enjoy being together. (As i was looking at her dumbfounded, she assured me that she was certain they had their "sibling" moments, but her kids really did look up to them.) Wow! So hats off to you S, M, & B! That doesn't just happen by accident! Thanks for the example of your commitment to each other!
Other news....
~Braden performs in the Patrick Henry Variety Show tonight. Guests in the audience will include Gma C and our neighbors.
~We leave to drive to the State Swim Meet right after the Variety Show. (So why am i blogging with all the things i need to do?!?!?)
~I am leaving to visit Sam in Bolivia for three weeks in April. (So why am i blogging with all the things i need to do.... because if you're reading this, it's likely you are a very important person in our lives (this is a private blog) and we wanted to share with you what's up!)

Duane and I saw the Phantom of the Opera in Hawaii-and still talk about it-the music, the set changes, and incredible talents-we loved it, too. Let us know if Sioux Falls has a similar event there-would consider attending! Bet Sam is glad you are coming to Bolivia-will he return with you? Hope all is well, you are loved, Duane and Kathy
