What's up...

we had a full weekend. B had a piano recital on Saturday followed by the Spinsters Dance. he had a great time. a friend's parents made them a lovely and very tasty dinner, we drove them to the dance and another friend's parents picked them up afterward. hope you enjoy the picture. he sure cleans up nice, doesn't he???

Sunday i enjoyed visits with both Sam and Marilyn. i also finished planting flower seeds indoors to have seedlings ready when it gets warm... foxglove, columbine, forget-me-nots, 4 o'clocks, morning glories... i just really love the smell of damp dirt that's ready for planting! could it be that i have a touch of spring fever??? last night we went to Cafe 334 for a cooking lesson. at the silent auction for the MDA fundraiser they had up for bid a cooking class with Chef Amy for 30 people. the office got the bid, so last night was the night. what fun! we had crab cakes, artichoke dip, and fresh tomato salad in a bread bowl. very yummy! i can't wait to try the tomato salad with garden tomatoes. store bought tomatoes are kinda' close???...not! B scored free upside-down chocolate cupcakes because he flashed his big browns, said how delicious everything was, and asked if there was going to be dessert. i told him i thought he had outgrown "cute". he informed me his "cute" had morphed into "charming". (help!)

please keep the folks up in Fargo, ND in your prayers. Jeff has 3 siblings with families that live there...one with a dike literally in their back yard. seems so strange to be living an ordinary day-to-day kind of life, when just a short distance away theirs is truly day-to-day and anything but ordinary.
