April in Review

~A Murder Mystery with Ginnie and Jerry and my first taste of "ice wine". it wasn't the butler... it was the whole family who conspired to drown the guy in the tub after they drugged him. one should never mess with women who know about plants. B would concur... but his biggest danger is blisters from digging holes!
~Celebrating the Birthdays of two of my kids
~Celebrating Easter Vigil Mass at Sacred Heart Convent with my friend Sr E. What a treat. True soul food!
~Dinner, a delightful conversation, and good laughs with my mom and my sister. the women in my family are the only ones i know who might carry a shovel when house hunting. who cares what the house looks like... is the soil any good??? i miss the west river humor... AI'ing is not the same thing as vaccinating a cow.... and just what is a "bovine pimp"? i know... do you????
~Eating Filipino food with J at a fund raising dinner. Yummy!
~Our Annual Teacher Appreciation Dinner. Stir fry and home made egg rolls from a co-worker of J's. always happy to say "thank you" to those folks, but this year seemed even more appropriate after they kept our kids safe during a 1 1/2 hour lock down the day before. it all turned out just fine, but i'm pretty sure i sprouted a couple more grey hairs in the process.
~Pasque flowers in bloom.
~Playing in the dirt and saying hello to my green friends again.
~Life is good!
