For Christmas we were in the Hills at my sister's home. All her kids were home and we got to spend some time with my great niece and nephew. Too cute! There was no snow at her home, but further north in the Hills it was beautiful. The five of us spent a day x-country skiing there. There were some spectacular crashes... (i think M wins the prize for the most creative snow print complete with pole marks)... and sore muscles after 10+ miles of trails, but it was great fun and good memories.
We spent a quiet New Year's Eve with Cherry watching movies at home while the two older kids were out with friends. M took off New Year's Day for a church conference in Texas with the Catholic Student Center at her school. B started back to school the next day. M will be home in time to say good-bye to S before he heads back overseas and then she will have a bit more time before school starts again for her. Of course there is the flurry of preparation everytime someone heads out the door. It sometimes seems like a revolving door.... maybe i should change the name of this blog to El Cuento de Mi Vida Loca..... the story of my crazy life.... :)
